Having studied Piano and Clarinet from an early age, Andrew qualified as a
bachelor of music from the University
of Surrey,
Guildford, majoring in piano and composition. He then completed
teacher training as is currently Deputy Headteacher of a local primary
school.
Andrew is well known in the South East Essex area as soloist, accompanist
and teacher. He has worked with many local groups as rehearsal pianist,
chorus master and musical director including Southend, Billericay and Leigh
Operatic Societies, Singer
Stage School,
Morgan Academy and East Essex Players. Andrew is
also Secretary of the Schools’ Music Association which organised as annual
festival for 70 Primary Schools at the Cliffs Pavilion. He is also a regular
entrant and supporter of both the Leigh-on-Sea and Southend Musical
Festivals, having won a number of classes over the years.
He has been Trillogy’s accompanist and arranger since 1995.
